This neighborhood was known for the sweet lemon trees that grew here. It used to house the Lemon City School, one of Miami’s oldest institutions. Over the years, this area became a location for many warehouses and creative offices, and for startups and innovate businesses. Bordering Little River, Lemon City is emerging as more than an industrial district; with big projects such as The Citadel, and Magic City, this neighborhood will surely be talked about in the future.
