Running from 54th Street north all the way up to 80th Street, and nestled between I-95 and NE 2nd Avenue, this historic area has been populated by Haitian immigrants for many decades. It has adopted an Afro-Caribbean culture, which can be seen by in the many retail shops, art venues, and restaurants with this theme. Being bordered by Little River/Lemon City, this area has seen a major growth in interest by entrepreneurs and developers alike, as well as artists looking to relocate their studios and spaces, due to the increasing prices in Wynwood and the Miami Design District.
